The book derives from the installation Red Mist that was presented at the Format Photography Festival in 2015. Each concertina book is completely individual in that it has six unique names of the 58,300 American Service Personnel killed during the Vietnam War.
In order to include the names of all those who perished, the series will consist of 9,717 books.
The series of books comments on notions of quantity and accumulation, as well as being a reflection on uniqueness within a series.
This is not a mass-produced object. It is hand-made in its entirety. Its cost only covers the production of the next book.
