Together.

A personal quest to place myself in the U.K., my adopted country. Over half of my adult life the reality of living as an immigrant has evolved from an idealized view of the country, to a longing for belonging.

Community and the resurgence of co-operative living in contemporary Britain seem directly related to this notion of belonging. Factors like the housing crisis, an increasingly diverse population and digital isolation are generating a renewed interest in finding a sense of community.

I am most interested in photographing the space where the negotiation between an ideal and daily life happens.

This project is ongoing.
